So.. almost 3 years since I have actively used this website. SAD.
Today a woman came into the shop, (Hi Jen!) she's a local fine artist. We got to talking, she saw a few things I had on here and gave me some cards. She shows all over town and said she had one friend specifically who she thought would love to show my work. And so im thinking to myself... well, shit. I havn't really done anything but a few measily sketches and snapshots since finishing the huge commission peice for Crystal & Keiths wedding that I finished last May. Basically had the same mini effort into my creativity the past.. well almost 3 years.
Fine arts.. sketching, painting, and photography are things I love, and if I could just do these things for the rest of my life I would be perfectly happy. So why havn't I been into it?
distractions, life, stress, depression. Losing jobs, love, apartments, friends, my vehicle, health isssues.. Hell.. theres absolutelty no excuses worth giving.
Life has been so over the top progressivly dissapointing, not forgetting about the good times, just having a "good time" and making up for lost time with friends and family,
I want to be the old me again.. and I am getting there.. so if I start slacking off, just kick me. Or tell me to make something. I need it.
Look forward to some new projects from me.
